Write to your MP
With the UK currently facing a cost-of-living crisis and increasing inequality, it is more important than ever that the UK Government is committed to the important protections offered by our Human Rights Act.
One way you can help is to write to your MP to tell them why our Human Rights Act matters and to urge them to protect it.
We have created a form which takes two minutes to fill in and your completed letter will be emailed to you at the end. Alternatively, you can download the letter as a customisable Word document. You can edit this letter as much or as little as you like.
Not sure who to write to? You can find out who your MP is by entering your postcode on the UK Parliament website.
We also worked with Sian and Lucy, Pembrokeshire People First members and RITES Committee members, to create an Easy Read version of this letter. This was checked by the Scottish Commission for Learning Disability. A huge thank you to everyone involved.
